CLASSIC BOOK CUTTINGS COLLAGED ON PANEL
The "Illuminated collage series was created by me through no process using ink, paint, photocopying or electronic image manipulation of any kind. The ingredients contain only glue and thousands of slices from hundreds of pages of printed book Illustrations. These pages once illuminated such epic titles as Aristosos "Orlando Furioso", Augusta Klein's "Anatole", Dante's "II' Inferno" , Merian's "Iconum - Bliblicarum" and Coleridge's - "Rime of The Ancient Mariner".
